Subject	Whats a better driveshaft?

Message	I believe my carrier bearing is going so rather than replace it just for it to go out again i'd rather just upgrade to a one piece but what is better steel or aluminum? To the untrained person (me) steel would seem stronger but at the same time heavier. Thanks guys!
